What are the transport options?
Significant recent government investment in the area provides fast and efficient travel to the rest of Sydney. This has included upgrades to The Northern Road and Bringelly Road; the new Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport line; new bus services connecting the airport to Liverpool, Penrith, and Campbelltown; the M12 Motorway for direct access to the M7 Motorway.
Currently the 856 bus route services from the Northern Road into Liverpool via Leppington. Bus stops are located along The Northern Road including in front of Birling. Additional bus stops and routes are planned within Birling and we will work closely with the bus companies to ensure their services grow with our community.
What amenities will Birling Village offer? When will that be open?
Birling Village aims to create a distinctive atmosphere with family-friendly dining, local shops, pathways, seating areas, and cultural installations. Due to the abundance of local options nearby, we do not plan to include a major supermarket, focusing instead on everyday conveniences and lifestyle offerings within the village.
Birling Village is intended to feature:
The final mix of inclusions and opening dates is subject to detailed design, approvals and tenancy commitments. The first stage of Birling Village is expected to open between 2028 to 2030.
What facilities will be in the parks you deliver?
Birling will contain over 14 hectares of embellished open space and parks, in addition to the retained Lowes Creek environmental corridor and water management basins.
The parks will be designed to provide a combination of active and passive recreation spaces for a range of ages. Subject to Council acceptance, these uses are expected to include:
In addition to park embellishments, we intend to create a safe and welcoming pedestrian and cyclist fitness loop. This loop will join most of the open space areas, featuring the Lowes Creek environmental corridor and fitness stations.
Each park is expected to open within 12 months of registration of home sites in the adjoining stage. The stage 1 park is expected to open by late 2026. All features are subject to further design approval and may evolve as plans are finalised.
