On Friday 11th April, three members of the Birling team — Wes Williams, Erin Austin, and Kate Luke — were among the first to step inside Bradfield’s First Building since its official opening by NSW Premier Chris Minns on 5 March 2025.
Located at the heart of Australia’s newest city, the First Building stands as a bold statement of progress — and as a powerful symbol of what’s to come for Western Sydney. As part of the state’s commitment to an industry-led city, this striking new facility is designed to attract both local and global partners, foster innovation, and build the skilled workforce of tomorrow.
For the Birling team, the tour was more than just a look inside a building — it was a glimpse into the future that Birling residents will soon be a part of.
“It’s hard not to feel inspired,” said Wes Williams. “Bradfield isn’t just a vision anymore — it’s real, it’s rising, and it’s already drawing in opportunity. This is just the beginning.”
The First Building’s sleek and sustainable design includes spaces for advanced manufacturing, research and development, and education — all intended to foster collaboration and innovation across sectors. Large open-plan workspaces, high-tech lab and training zones, and community-friendly public areas signal a deliberate move toward a modern, inclusive, and future-ready city.
“This city is being built with people in mind — people who want to work closer to home, innovate, and create,” said Erin Austin. “That makes it incredibly valuable for our Birling buyers, especially families looking ahead.”
Already, the proximity of Bradfield City Centre is proving to be a drawcard for new buyers at Birling. The emerging employment prospects, combined with world-class education and infrastructure, are reinforcing the value of our masterplanned community.
“We even recently exchanged with a pilot,” said Kate Luke. “It’s a great sign that people working in and around the Western Sydney International Airport — and now Bradfield — see Birling as the right fit for their future.”
As the Bradfield City Centre continues to evolve, so too will its connection with the Birling community. With only minutes between them, Birling residents will be positioned to benefit from the new jobs, educational opportunities, and cultural vibrancy that this city promises.
At Birling, we believe in bright futures — and with Bradfield just down the road, that future is already taking shape.
