With major rezonings, new infrastructure, and the Western Sydney International Airport nearing completion, the South West is now at the heart of Sydney’s expansion.

Last Saturday, 11 October, Birling came alive under glorious spring sunshine as our very first residents walked their lots for the very first time.

This special “Visit Your Lot” event marked a major milestone in Birling’s journey, and for the 99 families soon to call Stage 1 home, it was the moment their new chapter began. With registration and settlements set to take place very soon, these pioneering residents will be the first to bring life to the streets, parks, and pathways of Birling.

From the moment guests arrived, there was an unmistakable sense of excitement in the air. Children ran ahead to find their lot markers, parents traced future driveways in the ground, and neighbours began introducing themselves,  the first of many friendships that will grow here.

Our team loved seeing residents proudly place “SOLD” stickers on their lot plates, taking photos with the drone overhead, and soaking up the sunshine with live entertainment, food, and family activities. The Neighbour Bingo challenge proved a hit too, a fun way to meet the people who’ll soon live just down the street.

Days like this remind us what Birling is all about: a place built for connection, optimism, and bright futures.
